Raw Honey - Fall, 2020
Enjoy honey the bees did not need from the Fall batch of 2020. While that year in particular should stay a distant memory for most of us, we can look back and still find something sweet. This particular batch was pulled and safely stored over winter and not needed as food stores for the hives in Locust Point. We’re passing this harvest on to you in the form of 1lb, giftworthy jars.
This fall honey has an earthy, rich flavor and drips like a caramel. Our honey is lightly strained and filtered, and you could expect to see bits of wax or pollen in your jar. This light processing preserves all of the benefits of pure raw honey, yes, allowing you to figure seasonal allergies from the pollen the bees stored locally.
Add a drizzle into your tea or coffee, pour it on to waffles or eat it straight from the jar [we won’t judge]. Our favorite thing to do is to add a swirl on to vanilla ice cream with a shake of Old Bay. You can thank us later.
PS - let us know how you're using our honey on Instagram with the hashtags #marylandhoneyshop and #locustpointhoney
